Tahoe Live 2025: Electronic Music Festival Reaches New Heights with Three-Day Expansion and Star-Studded Lineup

When winter meets bass drops and alpine views collide with laser shows, magic happens. Tahoe Live is returning to Palisades Tahoe this December 12-14, 2025, with its most ambitious edition yet—expanding to three full days of world-class electronic music against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

A Festival Like No Other

The only electronic music festival to be held at a ski resort in the US, Tahoe Live takes advantage of one of North America’s most stunning winter destinations. Set at 6,200 feet above sea level on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe—the #1 IKON Pass redemption resort in the U.S.—this unique festival offers an unparalleled experience where festival-goers can literally walk from the main stage to ski lifts.

The festival’s boutique, single-stage format ensures that every performance can be experienced without overlap, creating an intimate yet high-energy atmosphere where pyrotechnics dance under snowflakes and lasers slice through crisp mountain air.

Dustin Esson, founder of LIVE noted of the event:

As we continue to grow Tahoe Live, this year’s expansion to three days marks a turning point.

We’ve built something special here—where the rave community, dance fans, and winter sports culture all collide in one breathtaking location. Our goal has always been to deliver more than just a show—it’s about the whole experience. This year’s lineup is our biggest yet, with legends like Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson leading the way, plus DJ Diesel (Shaq) making a special appearance. Tahoe Live isn’t just a festival anymore—it’s become something people really look forward to and love each winter.

Star Power Takes Center Stage

This year’s lineup is our biggest yet, with legends like Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson leading the way, representing a carefully curated blend of genre-defining artists and innovative rising stars. The headlining roster reads like a who’s who of electronic music royalty:

Porter Robinson, the GRAMMY-nominated producer known for his emotionally charged performances and genre-pushing productions, will bring his acclaimed live show to the alpine setting. His ability to blend melodic beauty with electronic innovation makes him a perfect fit for Tahoe Live’s unique atmosphere.

Zeds Dead, the Canadian duo that has become synonymous with bass-heavy anthems and festival domination, returns to deliver their signature blend of dubstep, drum and bass, and electronic fusion that has earned them a devoted global following.

Alison Wonderland brings her multi-platinum appeal and commanding stage presence to the slopes. The Australian artist’s unique blend of future bass, trap, and emotional storytelling has made her one of electronic music’s most compelling performers.

The Return of DJ Diesel

DJ Diesel, the dubstep project of Shaquille O’Neal, returns due to popular demand. The NBA Hall of Famer’s towering presence and unexpected bass-heavy sets have become a festival phenomenon, proving that the Big Aristotle’s talents extend far beyond the basketball court. His return to Tahoe Live promises another iconic performance that perfectly embodies the festival’s spirit of surprise and spectacle.

Collaborative Innovation with LSZEE

One of the most anticipated acts is LSZEE, the collaborative project by LSDREAM and CloZee. This powerhouse pairing brings together LSDREAM’s psychedelic bass explorations with CloZee’s world music-influenced electronic compositions, creating a sonic experience that’s both deeply immersive and dancefloor-ready.

Peak-Time Powerhouses

The lineup continues with a roster of electronic music’s most dynamic performers:

San Holo will deliver one of his “Wholesome Riddim” sets at the 2025 edition of Tahoe Live, bringing his signature blend of future bass and guitar-driven electronic music to the mountain setting.

Jessica Audiffred, known for her hard-hitting bass music and energetic performances, adds serious firepower to the festival’s sonic arsenal.

Peekaboo rounds out the heavy-hitters with his unique approach to dubstep and bass music that has made him one of the genre’s most exciting rising stars.

More Than Just a Festival

Our goal has always been to deliver more than just a show—it’s about the whole experience, as festival organizers explain. The combination of world-class electronic music, direct access to ski slopes, and the stunning natural beauty of Lake Tahoe creates an experience that transcends traditional festival boundaries.

Festival-goers can enjoy 10,000-foot alpine views, convenient access via Reno-Tahoe International Airport, and the unique opportunity to combine their love of electronic music with winter sports activities. The result is what organizers describe as “a high-altitude collision of sound, snow, and spectacle.”
