“The Year of Excess” celebrates the Wynn Nightlife 2026 lineup

Wynn Nightlife, the flagship nightlife division of Wynn Las Vegas, has unveiled The Year of Excess — a cinematic short film developed entirely by their in-house team. The film is a bold, unrestrained celebration of the spectacle, energy, and electric atmosphere that have made Las Vegas the entertainment capital of the world.

Voiced by Hollywood’s own Rob Riggle, the film follows 14 of the globe’s most in-demand DJs through a world of over-the-top luxury set across Wynn and Encore Las Vegas — think alpacas roaming the golf course, rooftop workout sessions, champagne-splattered graffiti by a celebrated artist, poolside caviar service, and plenty more. The lineup includes Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Diplo, Mau P, Hugel, Kaskade, ODESZA, SOFI TUKKER, and several others.

The project grew out of a six-month creative journey led by Wynn Nightlife’s internal marketing team. Conceived by Emilio Gonzales and Alex Schenberg, the film deliberately breaks from the conventional residency announcement format, transforming it into a full-blown cinematic event. “The Year of Excess” stands as the boldest, most ambitious realization of that creative philosophy — a universe where glamour has no ceiling, ambition knows no limits, and every moment is designed to feel monumental.

“Wynn Nightlife has always believed that great entertainment speaks for itself. ‘The Year of Excess’ is the purest expression of that belief — a visual piece that celebrates our artists, our venues, and the city of Las Vegas,” said Ryan Jones, Senior Vice President of Wynn Nightlife. “Whether it brings people through our doors or simply reminds them why Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world, that’s a win for all of us.”

Every artist’s segment pulses with the excess, color, and unbridled energy that define Vegas at its most iconic. The film closes on the line “Now go and be FABULOUS” — a tip of the hat to the city’s official tagline and a tribute to XS Nightclub, whose cultural footprint has long shaped the Las Vegas nightlife landscape as it steps into its next era.

“Following the launch of the cinematic piece, we hope ‘The Year of Excess’ creates a feeling — one that honors its venues, the artists who define them, the city that inspires everything, and an invitation to experience what comes next,” said Alex Schenberg, Creative Marketing of Wynn Nightlife.
