Tomorrowworld ends in chaos Saturday night – company future in doubt? (Updated – Tomorrowworld statement, possible death?)

UPDATED: Tomorrowworld/ID&T has released a statement regarding the issues surrounding the Saturday night fiasco at the event. See statement and link for refunds:

Friends,
We understand and hear your frustrations and disappointments in the developments at TomorrowWorld over the last weekend.
Our only goal was to create together with you the best weekend of the year, and we are heartbroken that we were not able to provide some of our precious fans with the full TomorrowWorld experience, which includes the complete journey to and from the festival.
The combination of your positive energy and our hard work did not shine through and we completely understand your dissatisfaction. TomorrowWorld was also let down by a number of external factors which did not allow us to provide you with the full experience you deserve. We realize we can’t turn back time and make it perfect, but for those who wish to, we are here to communicate directly and listen to all your personal stories, frustrations and questions.

CBS46 News

We are sure you have probably heard by now the fiasco that was the end of Saturday night at Tomorrowworld, where possibly 10,000 attendees who were not camping onsite, were forced to walk up to 5 miles in the wet cold rain and/or sleep roadside when all shuttle and Uber transportation was mysteriously cut off by the show organizers, SFX and ID&T. SFX already has been in major financial difficulties in 2015. Faced with having to refund many ticketholders for day 3, shuttles for day 2 and more than likely a few lawsuits, it will be interesting to see if SFX remains alive in its current state or begins to divest its various properties. And Tomorrowworld’s only tweet this weekend regarding this:

Less Thank Three mapped the walk for rides…. according to google its a 3.5 HOUR walk over 10 miles in the dark and middle of the night!
