Ultra Miami Canceled?

Today the City of Miami met with representatives from Ultra Music Festival regarding the upcoming event and the Coronavirus.

Media reports from the Miami Herald state that due to fears from spreading the virus as well as the many international travelers flying to Miami to attend are behind the cancellation.

The City and Ultra have stated an announcement will be made this Friday morning regarding the event.

In addition, David Guetta and Martin Garrix have removed the event from their list of tour dates.

It is unknown if the event will be rescheduled for 2020 or no make up date will happen with the event to return in 2021.

This development also leads to questions as to other large upcoming festivals such as Coachella and EDC will go on as planned or be delayed/cancelled.
