Woodstock 50 **Supposedly** to Relocate to Maryland, Jay-Z and John Fogerty Drop Out

Bloomberg reported that the troubled Woodstock 50 event will move from New York all the way to Merriweather Post Pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater in Columbia, Maryland. The new venue has a maximum occupancy of a fraction of that of the original plan and it remains to be seems who will perform and if the event occurs at all.

Due to the move, John Fogerty who performed at the original event with Credence Clearwater Revival, has cancelled and instead will perform at the competing event at Bethel Woods.

In addition, rap heavyweight Jay-Z is said to have pulled out as well.
