The Monterey County Fairgrounds is set to host a groundbreaking event on October 12th that promises to revolutionize the festival scene. “Worlds Away” will merge cutting-edge technology with world-class music, creating an immersive experience unlike any other. Sponsored by Pendulum and NEFT Vodka, with Augmento as their Title Tech Sponsor, this event will bring together a star-studded lineup of artists and technology companies for a truly unique festival experience.
Attendees, known as “TRAVELERS,” will be transported into a world of interactive technologies powered by Augmento’s augmented reality platform, including digital graffiti walls, 3-D maps, and an AR scavenger hunt. Normal Studio, known for creating the “Van Gogh Experience,” will craft an immersive environment using projection surfaces and LED screens. At the same time Endstate, a Web3 innovator, will enhance the merchandise experience with NFC-chipped items offering exclusive content.
The musical lineup is equally if not more impressive, featuring renowned artists such as The Chainsmokers, Lauv, Tiesto, R3HAB, Sam Feldt, Lost Kings, and Ayokay, with more to be announced. Set against thematic landscapes designed by Vita Motus and featuring stunning light displays and holographic projections, Worlds Away promises to be a landmark event that showcases how technology can enhance and transform the traditional music festival experience.
