Your Shot DJ Competition Featuring Tiësto Debuts in the U.S.!

The DJ competition out of Australia, ‘Your Shot’ powered by 7UP, recently announced in Los Angeles the registration for their U.S. debut this year. Applicants for the competition reached capacity within the first 24 hours of registration. The distinguishing factor from other DJ competitions is that applicants did not need to have prior DJing experience in order to have entered. Applicants only needed to be committed to learning how to DJ. 30 aspiring DJs will train at the Your Shot Training Academy in Los Angeles and a Los Angeles Showcase event will take place before a packed crowd and panel of judges including Tiësto. The top 6 finalists will then head out to Las Vegas to participate in a week of intensive DJ challenges and mentoring with Tiësto as well as other notable DJs, which will result in one Your Shot contestant winning the title and taking to the stage to open for Tiësto in Las Vegas. Tiësto is noted for helping launch the careers of some of the world’s best known DJs including Hardwell. The winner will also be a featured performer on 7UP’s Stage 7 at Ultra Music Festival 2016.
