The 2016 LA Film Festival will see the world premiere of the feature-length documentary “Zedd True Colors,” directed by Susan Bonds and Alex Lieu. The documentary is a look at the making of the recent album “True Colors” by the Grammy-winning electronic dance music artist, the film will screen at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on June 2.
The movie will be followed by what has been billed as “a short acoustic performance with Zedd and special guests.” That could mean an appearance by Kesha, the embattled singer who appeared onstage with Zedd recently at Coachella. The duo subsequently released a version of Zedd’s “True Colors” with Kesha on vocals.
