the Indio city councilmember, Sam Torres, has withdrawn his proposal for doubling the tax on tickets sold for Coachella… so as of right now Coachella will remain in Indio!
Editorial: We understand that cities need more $, but to double the tax on this event can only drive it away, as noted by Goldenvoice the promoters. Glad they got it worked out!
