Sankeys Ibiza and Bomba present Defected In The House
Sankeys Ibiza are very pleased to welcome Defected in The House in association with Bomba who will be joining Carnival Cities to host two Saturday night parties in the Sankeys LAB this June.
After a successful opening party at Carnival Cities last Saturday, where the likes of DJ Sneak, Alexis Raphael and white-hot new resident William Kouam Djoko rumbled the Sankeys basement to a clued-up crowd, the club is very excited to announce they have invited the soon to open Bomba and Defected to join them for two consecutive weeks to host parties in the club’s LAB on 15 and 22 June.
Joining Carnival Cities on these nights will be Derrick Carter, Eats Everything and Maxxi Soundsystem, while on 22 June Dennis Ferrer, Lil Loius, Sonny Fodera and Frank Rizardo will be taking control of proceedings.
Sankeys’ founder David Vincent opened Sankeys Ibiza back in 2011, successfully bringing the globally-renowned UK underground club to the White Isle. Since then, it has been one of the island’s success stories, with 2013 seeing arguably its strongest line-up to date with residencies from the likes of Solomun’s Neon Nights, Fuse, dirtybird, Hypercolour and Steve Lawler’s VIVa Warriors and Flying Circus.
Sankeys will see Defected In The House host the LAB with Carnival Cities alongside Culprit (15th) and The Underground (22nd) in the Basement, with performances from Finnebassen, Droog, Fur Coat, Jozif, Him_self_Her, Jobe and BONES. As per usual Rebels will be taking control of Spektrum.
Defected In The House will host Saturday nights at Bomba as soon as the venue has opened and Defected’s new breakout label DFTD is hosting weekly parties at The Ushuaia Tower, which began this week.
Dispelling the notion that club rivalries dominate the island, both Sankeys and Bomba couldn’t be happier to unite for these events.
