Exchange LA files for bankruptcy protection

Based on two media accounts, Exchange LA which brings in top dj talent each week to downtown LA via their booking association with Insomniac is in bankruptcy protection. The filing is due to a dispute whereby the building landlord is claimed to have not lived up to the terms of the lease agreement in required repairs/modifications to the building. For the time being it appears that it will be business as normal at the venue in the short term.

Based on the dj talent coming through each week we hope this matter settles in a manner that allows for the continued operation without a shutdown!
