The postponement of this year’s Ultra Music Festival as well as the entire Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week for a year due to the spread of COVID-19/coronavirus inspired the UMF organizers to launch ‘UMF Radio.’ The festival partnered with the US broadcasting company SiriusXM.
The broadcast on UMF Radio is the “Ultra Virtual Audio Festival” this upcoming weekend features exclusive DJ sets from artists who were scheduled to play live at this month’s edition of Ultra Music Festival. Performing artists included Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer and Afrojack. Listeners can also listen to DJ sets from past UMFs on the new station.
