Dom Dolla, Solomun, and Skepta Link Up for Unlikely Dream-Team Single ‘Danger Danger’

Three artists who rarely share a credit have finally put something out together. Dom Dolla, Solomun, and Skepta have released “Danger Danger,” out now via Three Six Zero Recordings — a genuinely unexpected pairing of two of dance music’s biggest DJ/producers with Skepta’s unmistakable grime-rooted vocals riding on top.

The track didn’t come out of nowhere. It was effectively road-tested across the three artists’ respective Ibiza residencies over the summer — Dom Dolla at Hï Ibiza, Solomun+1 at Pacha, and Skepta’s own Más Tiempo, also at Hï. Its first-ever live airing came when Dom surprised his Hï crowd by pulling both Solomun and Skepta up to the booth to play “Danger Danger” together for the first time, well before any formal announcement.

The release lands at a particularly big moment for Dom Dolla. Just last week, he became the first electronic artist to headline Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, opening that sold-out 60,000-capacity show with “Danger Danger” itself. The Marvel Stadium date also kicked off a packed fall run of U.S. shows, including a stop at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York, plus dates in the Bay Area, Nashville, and Chicago.

For Solomun, the collaboration reunites him with Dom Dolla several years after the two went back-to-back during a Solomun+1 set in Ibiza, while marking the first time either producer has worked with Skepta on record. Solomun closes out his own Solomun+1 residency at Pacha this weekend before heading into a run of South American dates across Buenos Aires, Santiago, Curitiba, and São Paulo, followed by a Los Angeles stop on Hollywood Boulevard and a January date in Tulum.
