RÜFÜS DU SOL headlines Lollapalooza this Saturday, Set to be Streamed Online

The acclaimed electronic music collective RÜFÜS DU SOL, winners of multiple Grammy Awards, is set to take center stage as the main act at this weekend’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago’s Grant Park. Their highly anticipated performance is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, and will be broadcast live via Hulu on Channel 1 beginning at 11:45 PM Eastern Time (10:45 PM Central, 8:45 PM Pacific).

This Chicago appearance comes during the trio’s monumentally successful Inhale / Exhale World Tour, which has shattered records by moving over 700,000 tickets across the globe. The tour has featured more than 40 completely sold-out shows internationally, establishing itself as the most commercially successful electronic music tour ever recorded and representing a pivotal achievement for both the artists and the electronic music scene.

The band’s latest musical offering, their fifth full-length record Inhale / Exhale, dropped in October 2024 and showcased a daring transformation in the group’s artistic direction. The album ventured into unexplored musical landscapes while maintaining strong connections with their fanbase and receiving widespread critical praise. The release secured a position on the Billboard 200 chart and delivered the trio their inaugural #1 hit on American dance radio with the track “Music is Better,” representing a significant career breakthrough.

The Lollapalooza performance serves as a precursor to what promises to be an extraordinary conclusion to their tour at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. This completely sold-out finale will represent the band’s most massive headlining performance ever, with ticket sales exceeding 57,000. By headlining the Rose Bowl, RÜFÜS DU SOL will enter an exclusive circle of legendary performers including Depeche Mode, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, The Rolling Stones, U2, and Coldplay.
