From a rooftop 100 stories over Manhattan and three straight nights at Pacha New York to two Freaky Deaky festivals in New Orleans and Austin, a desert takeover in Phoenix, an Arts District block party in Los Angeles, deadmau5 haunting Red Rocks, a sold-out SCREAM in Edmonton and a double bill at London’s most famous club, this year’s Halloween weekend is stacked. Here’s where to spend it.
Marquee Skydeck — New York City

New York’s Halloween weekend is about to reach new heights — literally. Marquee Skydeck, Tao Group Hospitality’s open-air nightlife hangout perched atop Edge at Hudson Yards, is wrapping up its second season with a three-night Halloweekend run, roughly 100 stories above the city streets.
The festivities kick off Thursday, October 29, when CamelPhat bring their hypnotic, melodic house to the rooftop. On Friday, October 30, Australian house mainstay Kaz James takes over the decks. Then on Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, French house icon Bob Sinclar closes out the weekend — and the season.
With the full Manhattan skyline wrapped around the dance floor, Marquee Skydeck makes a strong case for the most dramatic Halloween backdrop in the city. Costumes are encouraged. A fear of heights, on the other hand, is best left on the ground floor.

Pacha New York — Brooklyn
New Yorkers who’d rather keep their feet on the ground have another stacked option. Pacha New York is running its own three-night Halloween Weekend, with a different heavyweight every night:
- Thursday, October 29: Vintage Culture
- Friday, October 30: Kaytranada
- Saturday, October 31: Purple Disco Machine
That’s Brazilian house powerhouse, Montreal’s genre-blurring groove master and Germany’s nu-disco king in a single weekend, closing out with a Halloween night that should be pure dancefloor joy.
Freaky Deaky NOLA — New Orleans

Down south, one of the country’s biggest Halloween raves is heading to Louisiana. Freaky Deaky, the Disco Presents festival that started in Houston in 2018 and moved to Austin in 2023, lands at Mardi Gras World for its New Orleans debut on October 30–31. Porter Robinson (DJ set), FISHER, Of The Trees and Chris Lorenzo top a two-stage bill spanning house, techno, bass and more.
The NOLA edition doubles as a homecoming. Disco Presents founder James “Disco Donnie” Estopinal Jr. cut his teeth throwing underground raves in New Orleans over 30 years ago, and he’s teaming up with longtime local promoters Encore Entertainment, The Metropolitan and Amps Events to bring Freaky Deaky back to where it all began for him.
Friday, October 30 (both stages start at 5 PM)
- The Shrine (Main Stage): Know Good 7:20–8:20 PM · Of The Trees 10:30–11:30 PM · Porter Robinson (DJ Set) 11:30 PM–1 AM
- The Crypt (Second Stage): Xsomnia 8–9 PM · Layla Benitez 10–11:30 PM · CID 11:30 PM–1 AM
Saturday, October 31 (both stages open at 3 PM)
- The Shrine (Main Stage): Stryfe 3–4 PM · Skilah 5:50–6:50 PM · Chris Lorenzo 9:50–11:20 PM · FISHER 11:30 PM–1 AM
- The Crypt (Second Stage): Kyliente 3–4:30 PM · DJ Taf 9–10 PM · Distant Matter 10–11:30 PM · William Black 11:30 PM–1 AM
Between sets, Mardi Gras World turns into a full-blown Halloween funhouse. The Mansion brings towering trees and the outdoors inside, while the Sideways Illusion Room is a swamp cabin built entirely on its side, so the walls become the floor for some seriously disorienting photos. Kelley Davis Shelton will be reading tarot from 6 PM to midnight both nights, and a Haunted Cinema tucked behind The Crypt screens vintage B-movies and creepy clips for anyone who needs a breather. A costume contest is also on the way, with details still to come.
The night doesn’t end at 1 AM, either. The Metropolitan hosts two official afterparties: Of The Trees on Friday and Chris Lorenzo on Halloween night.

Freaky Deaky: The Revival — Austin

The same weekend, the original Freaky Deaky is back at Austin’s Travis County Expo Center, October 30–31, with a concept dubbed The Revival. This year the grounds become a dystopian science lab: glowing cables, stasis pods, DNA imagery and mutated skeletons fill the site, while roaming performers and large-scale installations keep the sci-fi horror vibe going between stages.
The bill is built for bass heads and house fans alike. ILLENIUM leads a lineup that also includes Disco Lines, Boogie T, Crankdat, Mary Droppinz, Liquid Stranger, SLANDER, SIDEPIECE, Odd Mob, WHETHAN, Hannah Laing, Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Heartstring, Flava D and Zingara. Music is split across three stages, The Reactor, The Circuit and The Lab, each with its own sound, from bass and house to techno and UK garage.

Chris Stassy Halloween — Phoenix
Over in the desert, two of the country’s heaviest-hitting independent promoters are joining forces for the first time. LA’s Framework is making its Arizona debut alongside the Southwest’s own Relentless Beats for Chris Stassy Halloween, a one-night party at Rawhide Event Center on Friday, October 30.
Topping the bill is Chris Stassy (formerly Chris Stussy), the Dutch selector whose bouncy fusion of house and minimal has turned him into one of the underground’s most in-demand names. Joining him are London’s Rossi., head of the Homegrown. label; fellow Dutch talent Marsolo, the rising producer behind “Step by Step“; and Puerto Rican DJ, vocalist and producer Natalia Roth, with more to come.
The night pairs Framework’s immersive production style, honed at landmark LA locations like Exposition Park and LA State Historic Park, with Relentless Beats’ long track record of building Arizona’s dance scene. The show is 18+.

THE MAZE — Los Angeles

Back in LA, THE MAZE is leaving Union Station behind after two sold-out years and taking over the Arts District for its third edition on Saturday, October 31. Producers SBCLTR and Minimal Effort, the team behind Resolutions NYE-NYD, are turning a full block around 613 Imperial Street into an indoor-outdoor Halloween playground with two stages, hidden pathways, roaming performers and large-scale installations.
The headline surprise is a rare Arcade Fire DJ set, with Win Butler and Paul Beaubrun mixing records with live performance and instrumentation. They join French duo The Blaze, performing live, and LA house favorite Claude VonStroke, with Porky b2b Bones, Valou, Araminta and Oren rounding out the bill.
The booking comes after the death of previously announced headliner Kavinsky, and organizers say the night will pay tribute to him with a dedicated installation, themed areas and special content. “Kavinsky was an artist we deeply admired, and having him be part of this year’s Maze meant a great deal to all of us,” said event producer Cyril Bitar of Minimal Effort.
Costumes are encouraged, and the indoor stage runs on a state-of-the-art KV2 sound system for the late-night stretch.
DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN — Red Rocks, Colorado

For the first time in more than 15 years of fall shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, deadmau5 will actually play the venue on Halloween. DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN runs two nights, October 30 and 31, with devilishly over-the-top visuals set to cuts from the mau5’s deep catalog plus new, unreleased music. Costumes are strongly encouraged.
Support comes from dark-wave duo VOWWS, the Australian-born, LA-based pairing of Matt James and Rizz, whose collaborators and fans include Gary Numan, Chino Moreno, Chelsea Wolfe, Korn and Billy Corgan. For these shows they’re joined by drummer Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails), who plays on their latest album I’ll Fill Your House With An Army, and producer and bassist Danny Lohner (The Black Queen, Nine Inch Nails).
The mau5hop pop-up also returns to Denver at 95 S Cherokee Street on both days from 11 AM to 6 PM, stocked with limited-edition apparel, pins and collectibles you can’t get online or at the shows. deadmau5 and friends will drop by for meet and greets and signings from noon to 3 PM each day.

SCREAM — Edmonton, Canada
If you don’t already have a ticket for SCREAM, you’re out of luck: North America’s longest-running Halloween festival sold out its 2026 edition more than two weeks early. Around 30,000 fans will pack four stages and more than 228,000 square feet of festival space on October 30–31, with Tiësto, Alesso, Chase & Status, Sara Landry and Gryffin at the top of the bill.
The rest of the lineup runs deep: Anime, Andrew Rayel, Beauz, Blossom, EDX, HNTR, Ian Asher, Jackie Hollander, Joshwa, Kayzo, KREAM, Layz, MaRLo (Tech Energy), Matroda, Odd Mob, Sullivan King, SVDDEN DEATH, Wax Motif, Westend and Wooli, plus 27 Canadian support DJs.
The sellout caps a remarkable run for the Boodang-produced event. SCREAM started in 1999 as a single night at Edmonton’s Polish Hall, where about 1,000 people turned out to hear John Acquaviva, and it’s grown roughly 30x since. This is only its second year as a two-night festival, and the premium Weekend GA+, VIP and Ultra VIP passes were gone before general admission, which then burned through six price tiers.

Ministry of Sound — London

Across the Atlantic, Ministry of Sound is going all in on Halloween weekend with two very different parties on back-to-back nights at its legendary London home.
Friday, October 30 belongs to the junglists. Drum and bass brand Worried About Henry takes over with high-octane sets from Camo & Krooked, S.P.Y featuring MC LowQui, and Calyx, with more acts still to be revealed.
On Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, the club descends into the underworld for Hell Is a Nightclub. A Secret Guest headlines alongside The Menendez Brothers, Wilfy D and Meeshy, with more names on the way, and the last few VIP tables are still available for anyone looking to do the devil’s night in style.
