Monsterland Takes Over Italy’s Imola F1 Circuit for a 13-Stage, 55,000-Person Halloween Festival, With Marco Carola, Loco Dice, and Salmo

Monsterland Halloween Festival is back for its 16th edition this Saturday, October 31, turning the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, the historic home of the San Marino F1 Grand Prix, into what organizers bill as the biggest Halloween festival in Europe. They’re expecting 55,000 people across 13 themed stages, with a bill that runs from rap and urban music to house, techno, and hard techno.

Monsterland is pitched as more than a lineup. Gates run from 4 PM until 5 AM across the whole circuit site, which grows this year by an extra 7,000 square meters, with larger stage structures, a strengthened international lineup, and a new VIP area. Between sets there’s a Horror Luna Park with themed rides, an Escape Room, a Wrestling Arena, a Freestyle Motocross Show, and roaming performers and installations. Costumes are a big part of the draw: the festival calls itself Europe’s largest costume event.

The three main stages carry the headline names. On the Horror Warehouse Stage, presented by ZIPP Group, Italian rap heavyweight Salmo is joined by Kid Yugi, Artie 5ive, Guè, and Noyz Narcos. The Witch Forest Stage by Jägermeister is the electronic centerpiece, with Marco Carola, Loco Dice, and Paco Osuna alongside Ale De Tuglie, Frank Storm, Gauthier DM, and Bryou. The Galactica Stage by Cocoricò goes harder with Paolo Ferrara, Luca Agnelli, Gianni Di Bernardo, Daisy, Fantasm, Santos, and Winson.

Beyond those three, ten more stages and areas each have their own identity:

  • Cima Stage: run with Buongiorno Classic, Made, Marea, Send, and Mangrovia, with genre-crossing names including DJ r[a]lf, Kellie Allen, and Mirko Loco
  • Al Mugello Non Si Dorme: high-intensity electronic sets from Metempsicosi, Killer Faber, and Geo From Hell
  • Adrenaline Stage: Radio 105’s Paolo Noise with resident host Lady Ross
  • Cemetery Garden Stage: a darker, more atmospheric stage with Cesare vs Desorder and others
  • Jäger Music Lab: a showcase for emerging electronic artists
  • Toilet Circus by Fidelio: house music and unconventional party energy from Neverdogs, Joe Venditti, and Elbio & Denis
  • Red Bull Secret Energy Zone: in collaboration with Wood Club, with Lele Sacchi and DJ Uovo
  • Technobus Stage: hard techno from Ezediel, Purple Mash, and Rav, among others

The festival has come a long way from its early days. Monsterland says it has welcomed more than 340,000 people from over 50 countries across its history, including more than 42,000 in 2025, and more than 1,000 national and international artists have played its stages. It’s held under the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
