Adam Beyer|Drumcode Award Nominations, Release, & Tour Dates

Award season is upon us and Adam Beyer with his Drumcode label have garnered nominations from a very busy 2013. Beatport nominated Drumcode for “Best Label” in their “Community Choice” awards category and the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) nominated the label for the “Best Indie|Underground” category. Beyer also received a nomination for “Best Techno|Tech House DJ”. Voting in the IDMA’s is available until March 5th: https://wintermusicconference.com/idmaballot/finalballot.

These nominations are well deserved for the label that Beyer started back in 1996. Drumcode has received six top placements in Beatport’s techno chart with tracks like Robert Capuano’s ‘Vertigo’, Harvey McKay’s ‘Lost’ and Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg’s ‘Unanswered Question’ (Julian Jeweil remix). He closed out the year with his massive production with wife, Ida Engberg, called “You Know” that climbed to the #4 spot on Beatport’s Deep House chart. Beyer’s Drumcode radio show continues to grow in listeners and broadcasts on 59 worldwide stations with almost five million downloads on iTunes.

Beyer is also looking forward to his upcoming remix of Gary Beck’s “Say What”, which will be out soon on Nic Fanciulli’s label Saved Records. You can stream it here:

Drumcode’s popularity continues to soar with their series of worldwide events that include Sonar (Barcelona), Awakefest (Amsterdam), Berghain (Berlin), Ewer St Warehouse (London), Fabrik (Madrid), Zig Zag (Paris), Parco Gondar (Gallipoli) and Amnesia (Milan). Beyer’s DJing style works effortlessly between house and techno. He played Sasha’s Nevery Say Never parties in Ibiza as well as the Awakenings and Time Warp events in 2013.

Beyer and Engberg will play a back-to-back set at Richie Hawtin’s party ENTER.Miami at Ice Palace Studios on March 28th during Miami Music Week. Beyer will also be closing out Miami Music Week with his Drumcode label party on the Terrace at Club Space on March 30th.
