Confirming recent speculation that pop diva legend Beyonce would not perform at the 2017 Coachella festival has come true today with word that she will not be performing rather will play the 2018 version. With her recent Grammy’s appearance showing a noticeable baby bump and doctor’s statements that with twins she would be advised not to perform in a physical manner, today’s news came as no surprised. As of yet no replacement has been announced.
The official statement read:
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
