Daughter and Mom sentenced to 27 months in jail for selling fake Tomorrowland tickets

Charmaine Bowers of Torksey, England, has been sentenced to 27 months in jail along with her mother for a sophisticated fraud scamming clubbers wanting to attend the 2013 edition of Tomorrowland in Belgium. Totaling over 121,000 pounds (approximately $200,000 US), the duo said they had access to promoter comp tickets and were selling them to clubbers who were not able to buy tickets via the official sale. Bowers sent realistic-looking official receipts to the buyers none of whom received tickets.
