Word on the Vegas Strip is that Deadmau5 is developing a headlining show for Paris Las Vegas. Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 will be replacing the award winning musical, Jersey Boys, which ended its 8 1/2 year Vegas run this last Sunday night. Supposedly Canadian investors are to bankroll Deadmau5’s show, which makes sense since Joel is from Toronto. The Deadmau5 show has not been confirmed or denied, but a senior executive said, “We hope to have a lot of announcements to make shortly.” Four Las Vegas theater productions have recently been shut down due to the booming nightclub business of EDM that draws a younger and more profitable demographic.
