‘We’ve done it a thousand times.’ Well, in our case, that’s not an exaggeration. Saturday, April 6, 2019, marks the 1000th Saturday of Giant. Seems like yesterday, but it was actually January 15, 2000, when a piece of global dance music history was set into motion here in Los Angeles. Long before thumb drives replaced CDs, even before CDs replaced record crates, Giant launched with a mission to deliver upfront dance music in a harmonious club environment every Saturday night. For this momentous occasion, we’ve tapped another LA original, the legendary Doc Martin (Sublevel Live), and we’re delighted to welcome back the unequivocal ambassador of all that is cool in the LA music scene, Jason Bentley (KCRW), who also spun our opening night 1000 Saturdays ago.
