Further Future 002 Adds Leftfield to Lineup

Further Future 002 recently announced the addition of one of electronic music’s greatest acts, Leftfield, to the already stellar lineup of artists. This will be Leftfield’s second appearance in the States in 15 years where their first show was at Coachella in 2011.

Leftfield is known as spreading the original progressive house movement of the 90s along with key influencers like The Prodigy, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, and The Crystal Method. Leftfield’s most influential album is ‘Leftism’, which was released in 1995. Leftfield released their first album in 16 years in 2015 called ‘Alternative Lights Source’. Performances for Leftfield in the US have always been elusive since their formation 25 years ago, which is what inspired the Further Future team to book the legendary electronic music act.

Leftfield is now led solely by Neil Barnes, and he had the following to say, “I can’t think of a better way to bring our new album and new show to the USA than doing it in the desert with Further Future. It’s rare that we play in the US and always special. This is going to be a great event.”

Over 70 artists will be joining Leftfield that include Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, Easy Star All-Stars, Kid Koala, DJ Tennis, Crazy P, Fort Romeau, Andy Stott, Terry Francis, Tropic Of Cancer, Low Leaf, Dixon, The Pharcyde, HVOB, Oneohtrix Point Never, &Me, Derrick Carter, Birds of Passage, Oneohtrix Point Never, Daedelus, Donato Dozzy, Elderbrook, Greg Wilson, Hauschka, HVOB, Inland Knights, Jam City, Jane Fitz, Joakim, Joeski, Kimball Collins, Lusine w/ Trent Moorman, Matt Tolfrey, Neel, Pattern Drama, Pedro Aguiar, Rampue, Rival Consoles, Stev, Still Corners, Talal, Voices From The Lake, and WhoMadeWho.

Further Future 002 will be held next year from April 29 to May 01 following the success of the debut of this year’s Further Future. Our creative friends who bring us Robot Heart each year at Burning Man, and now Further Future, will be returning to the majestic desert beyond Las Vegas for FF002.
