GoFundMe campaign for Fyre Festival food vendor featured has raised over $154,700 to date

A GoFundMe fundraiser campaign has been launched this past weekend on behalf of Maryann Rolle, owner of the Exuma Point Resort who was out more than $50,000 after providing thousands of meals to Fyre Festival workers only to be stiffed on the bill for food as well as lodging.

The campaign has been trending since this past weekend after Netflix documentary ‘FYRE‘ aired starting on Friday January 18th.

The campaign link has been retweeted by none of other than Ja Rule himself, arguably a large part of the problem.

Per Rolle’s GoFundMe page:

“As I make this plea it’s hard to believe and embarrassing to admit that I was not paid…I was left in a big hole! My life was changed forever, and my credit was ruined by Fyre Fest. My only resource today is to appeal for help.”
