California’s top music promoter Goldenvoice has unveiled HEAD TRIP, a limited engagement taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA across two days — Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. Prospective attendees can register for pass access at HEADTRIPINDIO.COM, with passes going on sale Friday, March 13 at 11am PT. The event takes place on the sale field as Coachella as well as the prior Power Trip and Desert Trip weekend festivals.
Saturday’s lineup includes Calvin Harris, Fisher B2B Chris Lake Under Construction, Peggy Gou B2B Four Tet, and Seth Troxler B2B Ben Sterling.
Sunday brings Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla B2B Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey.
Floating Points Sunflower Sound System will be present both days throughout the weekend.
The event is production-designed by Romain Pissenem — founder and director of acclaimed creative production house High Scream — and will unfold on a SINGLE STAGE with NO OVERLAPPING SETS.
Head Trip also marks the US debut of the exclusive Sunflower Sound System, conceived by Floating Points. Housed within an acoustically engineered dome tent — its panels crafted from mycelium and adorned with striking tapestries and original artwork commissioned by DJ and visual artist Josephine Chime — the system is an audiophile’s dream realized. Ten distinct stacks are assembled and positioned throughout the space to deliver a fully immersive, one-of-a-kind listening experience. Floating Points and a rotating cast of special guests will man the decks at Sunflower Sound System for the duration of the weekend.
