Nearly three decades into his career, Kaskade is still finding new ground to cover. ‘ORIGIN //,’ his sprawling new 12-track album, is out now via his own Arkade imprint, arriving as the follow-up to December 2025’s introspective ‘undux’ — and moving in almost the opposite direction, built entirely around outside collaboration and genre-hopping curiosity.
The album opens with “Stay For Love,” where Brienna Grace’s vocals ride synth-soaked progressive house built around themes of longing and connection. “Dealing With It” stands as the only fully solo track on the record, its punchy low-end and rolling percussion turning heartbreak into forward motion. From there, Kaskade pushes into entirely new territory: “A Little Bit” with Crankdat marks his first dubstep collaboration, a track heavy enough to top Beatport’s Dubstep chart outright, while “UV,” made alongside rising artist Sarah de Warren, veers into rabid, driving techno reminiscent of Kx5’s “Avalanche.”
“Runaway,” a collaboration with GLOCKENBACH and vocalist Kaitlin Aragon, stands out as one of the album’s emotional centerpieces, its synths swinging between brightness and melancholy while Aragon’s vocal carries the track through every build and drop. Elsewhere, “Blink” teams Kaskade with singer-songwriter Julia Church for one of the record’s more tender moments, before the album closes with “Hear Me Now,” an explosive link-up with bass producer Wooli and vocalist MAXINE.
The rollout leading up to the album included several previously released singles that each carried their own milestone. “Meet Again,” made with Layton Giordani and Natalie Jane, became the official anthem of EDC Las Vegas 2026 and gave Kaskade his seventh career No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart. “Comes Back Around” paired him with BUNT. for a festival-scale, emotionally driven cut, while “A Little Bit” and “Runaway” each extended the album’s range further before “Hear Me Now” closed out the pre-release campaign — we covered that single, along with the announcement of Kaskade’s accompanying ORIGIN// headline tour, back in July.
ORIGIN // also carries real live history behind it. Kaskade debuted the project’s accompanying live concept while closing Coachella’s Sahara stage across both weekends this year, marking his return to the festival after an 11-year hiatus, and is now bringing that concept to life through his first fully conceptual headline tour in nearly a decade.
