Kygo recently released through Republic Records the only official remix of “Starboy” by The Weeknd and Daft Punk. “Starboy” is the second official remix that Kygo has done for The Weeknd as he remixed “Often” back in 2014, and only the second track that Kygo has remixed in 2016.
The remix ends a successful year having released his debut album ‘Cloud Nine’ featuring the hit tracks “Firestone”, “Stole The Show”, and “Carry Me”, becoming the fastest artist to reach one billion streams, launching his own fashion line, performing at the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony, and selling out two shows at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles last month.
