Movement Electronic Music Festival recently announced their phase one lineup at Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan on May 23rd through May 25th. The festival will feature more than 100 artists over six stages and numerous official after-parties.
The lineup does not surprise with Detroit techno staples like Carl Craig and Kevin Saunderson. It also includes the usual suspects traveling from Berlin like Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, and Marcel Dettmann, but there are surprises in the lineup like a DJ set from Snoopdog aka DJ Snoopadelic. I don’t know how Snoop is at mixing, but we’ll find out on Memorial Day weekend.
