Earlier this week the news came down that had been expected the famous Printworks nightclub in London will be converted into offices after a local council meeting approved the new plan.

Andrew Tindale, associate at Hawkins\Brown said:

“The redevelopment of the Printworks will result in the retention and re-use of this iconic building, to create a best in class and flexible workplace.”

However in very good news, coming October 1st to East London is a new nightclub from Printworks, Depot Mayfield and Tobacco Docks. The Beams will be housed in over 55,000 sqft of industrial warehouse space both indoors and out.

Similar to other venues from Broadwick Live, The Beams will offer a multi-use space. During the week the space can be used for set construction, photo shoots, art spaces, and more. When not being used on weekends for normal club nights organizers are looking to offer the space to other music and cultural events.

October to December they will be offering appearances by top tier artists of varying genres. The venue can be easily accessed by public transportation from the Pontoon Dock station.
