LA’s hottest new dance music experience wraps its debut indoor run and sets its sights on the open air, with Gorgon City headlining May 30th at Reframe Studios
When Framework launched re:frame at Reframe Studios Indoors in Atwater Village this past January, few could have predicted just how quickly it would seize the imagination of Los Angeles’s dance music faithful. Now, with its debut winter season drawing to a close, the numbers tell the story: seven sold-out shows, a who’s-who of underground and mainstream dance music royalty, and a series of moments that have made re:frame one of the most talked-about new nightlife destinations in the country.

A Season for the Books
From the very beginning, re:frame made clear it wasn’t going to be a typical club night. The Grand Opening Party on January 16 — a headlining set from underground house legend MK — sold out immediately and signaled that Framework had tapped into something real. What followed was a relentless streak of sell-outs that few venues, new or established, could match.
Italian techno duo Mind Against brought a mystical edge to the soundstage on January 24. French producer Dombresky then pulled off the rare feat of headlining two consecutive sold-out nights — first as his disco-fueled alter ego Disco Dom on January 30, then under his primary alias the following night.
The season’s most electric moment came when John Summit surprise-announced a single release party just 24 hours in advance. Despite the short notice and a Tuesday night start time, tickets sold out in five minutes. The show itself delivered in every sense: Summit played open-to-close, welcomed surprise appearances from Colombian sensation Feid, bass music icon Subtronics, and GRAMMY-nominated house duo Subtronics, and used the re:frame stage to officially announce his forthcoming album, CTRL ESCAPE — cementing the venue at the center of one of 2026’s most talked-about music moments.
The weekends of February 6 and 7 kept the momentum going with The CamelPhat Experience and The Martinez Brothers Present Orbita, the latter featuring a jaw-dropping UFO sculpture and light show suspended above the dance floor — exactly the kind of custom-built, immersive spectacle that has come to define the re:frame experience.
Closing Out in Style
Re:frame Season 1 wrapped with a fittingly impressive finale run. Berlin-based producer and vocalist Jan Blomqvist took the stage on February 13, followed by a sold-out headlining set from Dutch DJ and producer Franky Rizardo on February 20. The season officially closed on February 21 with underground techno purveyor Guy Gerber headlining the Lunar New Year Season Closing Party, featuring a new stage design in partnership with Long Feng Art Car — a celebration as visually striking as everything that came before it.
Ten shows. Seven sell-outs. One debut season that redefined expectations for what a new Los Angeles venue can accomplish right out of the gate.
The Outdoors Awaits
With the indoor chapter now complete, Framework is wasting no time looking ahead. Re:frame is set to move outside this spring, and the first major announcement makes a statement: Gorgon City will headline on May 30th at Reframe Studios, bringing their signature blend of deep house and infectious club energy to what promises to be a landmark outdoor debut for the series.

It fits neatly into what is shaping up to be Framework’s most ambitious year yet. The promoter recently announced a collaboration with fellow underground tastemakers Stranger Than; for a headlining set from Keinemusik member &ME on May 9 at Cabrillo Beach — Framework’s first-ever beach party and their first official headline collaboration with the Berlin-based artist.
For a company already known for producing culture-defining events in Los Angeles, 2026 feels like a genuine leap forward — new venues, new partnerships, new formats, and a re:frame brand that has earned its place among the city’s most coveted live dance music experiences before it even made it through its first winter.
The outdoor season is just getting started, and if the last seven weeks are any indication, you’ll want to move fast on tickets.
