Last year EDC was scheduled to bring its brand to Portugal for the first time. Unfortunately due to Covid this did not happen.
This past week, Insomniac announced that while they will be having a festival in Portugal this May, it will rather be a DnB, Techno and House version of Secret Project.
Tickets are now on sale at a price of $165 for GA and $190 for VIP. The lineup features an excellent selection of house, techno and DnD djs including: Adam Beyer, Andy C, Boris Brejcha, Camelphat, Camo & Krooked, Charlotte De Witte, Chase & Status, Cired D/Eric Prydz, dillinja, Domension, Hot Since 82, Ida Engberg, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Luciuano, Macio Plex, Marco Carola, Netsky, Richie Hawtin, Svan Vath, Tale of Us, The Martinez Brothers and more!
EDC put out on socials the following statement:
Due to logistics unique to EDC, we have determined that we will not be able to fully deliver an EDC experience this June.
While we are disappointed, we are also excited to debut the first edition of Secret Project Festival in Portugal with one of the world’s best house, techno, & bass music lineups. This will still take place on the same dates, June 17-19, 2022, at the same beachside venue, Praia Da Rocha.
All current ticket holders will receive an email by this Friday, January 28 to receive a refund, or you can choose to have your ticket automatically transferred to Secret Project Portugal.
