Soundcloud, which has been under concern regarding its financial viability, reported recently that its 2017 gross income was $102 million for 2017. This is a strong increase from $57.8 million in the prior y ear.
In that period, subscriptions showed strong increases of 89% and ad revenue was up as well by 53%.
Operating losses dropped by 27%, leading to the view that the streaming music website has vastly improved its financial stability since undergoing a restructuring in the summer of 2017 and should continue to be a viable company, which is good news for electronic music fans.
Numbers for their 2018 performance are not available yet however the company gave guidance that it has passed their 2018 projections.
