The creators of Tahoe Live — one of the fastest-growing winter destination music festivals in the country, often dubbed “Coachella on the slopes” — are making their move into Colorado with the launch of Colorado Live, debuting with a free mountaintop party at 11,000 feet this Friday, March 20. Alongside this announcement, they’ve revealed the official dates for Tahoe Live 2026: December 11–13.
The one-day pop-up will turn the summit of Copper Mountain into an elevated dancefloor, with a special back-to-back set from Valentino Khan and OKAYVAL running from 12–3pm ET. Attendance is free for anyone holding a day pass, season pass, IKON pass, or foot passenger ticket.
Mountaintop events of this magnitude are exceptionally rare — pulling one off requires deep coordination between resort operations and production crews, who are currently hauling staging and equipment up the mountain to make it happen.
This launch marks the formal introduction of Colorado Live, a new winter festival concept modeled after the success of Tahoe Live, which has carved out a distinct place on the U.S. winter festival circuit by merging electronic music, ski culture, and destination travel. Watch the teaser video HERE.
Colorado Live comes on the heels of a landmark 2025 edition of Tahoe Live — a turning point for the festival. Expanded to three sold-out days at Palisades Tahoe, it brought together world-class electronic acts, mountain adventure, and deeply resonant fan moments, cementing its reputation as one of the most distinctive winter festivals in the country.
The 2025 lineup boasted an iconic roster: LSZEE (LSDREAM x CloZee), Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, and DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal) — delivering a weekend defined by scale, artistry, and unforgettable moments. High-res photos from the festival are available for download here.
With that momentum behind them, expanding into Colorado is a logical next chapter for the brand — bringing its signature “ski by day, music by night” ethos to the Rockies with the arrival of Colorado Live.
“Colorado Live represents the official expansion of our dance music mountain footprint. We are bringing the same caliber production and talent buying strategy that defined Tahoe Live to Copper Mountain. This Friday’s launch is just the beginning of what we have planned for the region.” — Dustin Esson, CEO/Founder
Full details for Colorado Live are still forthcoming, but the team has confirmed that Tahoe Live will be back December 11–13, 2026, as the high-altitude festival movement continues to gain altitude.
