Tahoe Live is heading back to the base of Palisades Tahoe December 11-13 for its fourth edition, and this year’s bill is the festival’s biggest and broadest yet. Set at 6,200 feet in the Sierra Nevada, steps from the ski lifts, the three-day winter destination event brings GRiZ, Knock2, Chris Lake, T-Pain’s TEDDY PAIN DJ set, Madeon, Walker & Royce, Noizu, YDG, Mary Droppinz, Daniel Allan, WINK x nikko, KHØDA LEON, and more to a single stage at one of North America’s most recognizable ski mountains.
After a 2025 edition that expanded to three sold-out days, founder Dustin Esson and the Tahoe Live team spent the past year deliberately widening the musical range. Where last year leaned heavily into bass, this edition pulls in house, melodic electronic, and crossover sounds alongside a strong roster of emerging talent, while keeping the format that’s defined the festival from day one: one stage, three days, zero set conflicts.
GRiZ is one of the weekend’s biggest storylines, marking his next solo Northern California headline appearance following a comeback stretch that included two sold-out Cow Palace shows in San Francisco last November. Outside of a GRiZTRONICS back-to-back with Subtronics at Outside Lands, this will be his first extended NorCal set since. Knock2 brings a rare home-state moment of his own — the San Diego native has stayed notably selective about California festival appearances, making this one of the few chances for fans in-state to catch him close to home. On the house side, Chris Lake anchors the bill with a following that runs deep through Northern California and the Bay Area, underscoring the festival’s push beyond a single genre this year. And then there’s T-Pain, stepping into his TEDDY PAIN alias for one of the weekend’s more unexpected pairings, sliding a multi-platinum vocalist into a lineup full of dance music heavyweights.
“We really wanted this year’s lineup to reflect where Tahoe Live is going,” Esson said. “Last year leaned heavily into bass, and this year we intentionally opened it up.”
The mountain setting remains as central to the pitch as the lineup itself. Festival grounds sit at the base of Palisades Tahoe, ringed by Sierra Nevada peaks that climb past 9,000 feet, with the stage just steps from the lifts and The Village’s lodging, dining, and après-ski scene within walking distance. Fans can ski or ride all day and walk straight down to the festival once the lifts close, with lights, lasers, and large-scale production turning the alpine setting into part of the show after dark.
That combination has turned Tahoe Live into a genuine destination rather than just another festival stop. Since launching as a two-day event in 2022 with Steve Aoki, Louis The Child, and Whethan, the festival moved to Palisades Tahoe in 2023 behind REZZ and DJ Diesel, grew to roughly 15,000 attendees over two days in 2024 with Diplo and RL Grime, and expanded to a sold-out three-day run in 2025 with Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, and Alison Wonderland. Last year, fans traveled in from 48 states, and lodging in The Village sold out well ahead of the event itself.
