Six years after his debut album ‘Mad World,’ Timmy Trumpet is finally ready to talk about the record he accidentally announced live on air this summer. During a conversation with Tomorrowland’s One World Radio this past July, Timmy let slip that a new album was coming before anyone on his team had planned to say a word about it. Now the full picture is here: ‘Revelations’ arrives October 23 via Spinnin’ Records, a 15-track, fully vocal body of work that stands as the most personal project of his career.
The album was written during what Timmy has called the hardest year of his life, in the aftermath of a long-term relationship ending. Rather than leaning on the festival-sized originals that built his name over the past decade, he turned to songwriting as a way of working through it — the record tracing a path from heartbreak toward something closer to rediscovery, the pull to feel alive again after loss.
Alongside the album news comes its fifth single, “Chase The Feeling,” a collaboration with German producer Alle Farben featuring Brighton vocalist ALEXX. Where earlier singles leaned into the weight of the breakup itself, “Chase The Feeling” marks a shift — a bright, endless-summer house cut built around Timmy’s signature live trumpet and a hook that lands on first listen, less about processing the loss and more about the instinct to move forward.
The rollout leading up to the album has unfolded slowly since March, when “Not A Place” with Oaks marked Timmy’s first release in over six months and an unusually vulnerable turn for an artist known for festival-ready anthems. “All My Life” with Frank Walker and John Martin followed, then “Roses” with bradeazy featuring Richard Judge, and “Wanna Be Loved” featuring Moa Lisa. Together, the singles have charted a gradual emotional arc that the full album now completes.
Timmy Trumpet’s career numbers speak for themselves: over 5 billion career streams, a breakthrough hit in “Freaks” that’s crossed a billion streams on its own, and a run of festival headline slots that’s made him one of dance music’s most recognizable live performers. Trained originally as a jazz musician, he was named Young Musician of the Year in Australia at 13 before earning a scholarship to the Conservatorium of Music, a background that still shows up in his live trumpet work today. His track “Narco” became a genuine MLB cultural moment in 2022, and in 2025 he composed and performed the official team song for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL, debuting it live during their championship-winning season. He’s also shared festival stages with Jared Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars, performing “Kings & Queens” together at Lollapalooza.
