Tomorrowland approved for three weekends in July

While the fear of covid and its new omicron variant seems rampant, festivals and the cities that host them seem ready to get back to some normalcy. Tomorrowland has received approval to hold their festival in Belgium for three separate weekends in Summer 2022! And Tomorrowland sounds just as excited as we all are.  Debby Wilmsen of Tomorrowland said:

“This is very good news for us. We have not been able to organize Tomorrowland for two years. We are therefore very much looking forward to both the winter edition in France and the 3 summer weekends in De Schorre. We can now start preparing for three weekends. They will all fall in July. We will work in the same way as for two editions, i.e. with the necessary variations on the poster.”

As the event will be gathering for three weekends they will be taking some precautions to ensure there won’t be any nuisance issues. For instance, Tomorrowland will not be using its helicopters to film, and its opening party Dreamville will end earlier, 12:00am.

While three weekends of Tomorrowland sounds amazing it will be a one time thing to help them make up for lost income due to Covid. as two summer events were cancelled, as well as two winter events. In addition to their three weekends in July they are also on track to host their winter event in France March 19-26.

The 2 weekends so far confirmed will be:

Weekend 1: July 22 – 24, 2022
Weekend 2: July 29 – 31, 2022
