Will Ultra Europe See a Last Minute Venue Switch?

Media reports have indicated that the venue for Ultra Europe the past several years, Poljud Stadium, have not approved the festival to use the location in July. The dispute stems from past damage to the soccer field from Ultra attendees and the subsequent high cost to replace the field and/or relocate the soccer team to a smaller stadium elsewhere while the field recovers.

According to Radio Split, the new venue will be RNK Split Stadium, also known as Park Mladeži.

The new venue has said news should be forthcoming the beginning of next week with more details.

The move follows Ultra Singapore’s last minute move from outdoor festival to indoor show and Ultra Miami’s well documented 1-year experiment at Virginia Key.
