Voted ‘The Greatest DJ Of All Time’ by Mixmag and widely regarded as the world’s biggest DJ/Producer, Tiësto has worked with global superstars like Nelly Furtado, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Goldfrapp. His recent Kaleidoscope World Tour spanned more than 175 dates across six continents in 15 months playing to over 1,000,000 fans. Tiësto was nominated for two 2010 Billboard Touring Awards, was listed in Billboard’s Top 25 biggest grossing global touring acts of 2010 and recently topped the 10 million fan mark on Facebook.
Tiësto was busier than ever in 2011 with endeavors including the release of his highly anticipated “Club Life – Volume One Las Vegas” mix album and tour; brand new singles “Work Hard Play Hard”, “Maximal Crazy” and“Tornado” (w/ Steve Aoki); the launch of his CLVB LIFE clothing brand; performance at the launch party of “Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol” (streamed internationally via Coca Cola) and remix of the “Mission Impossible theme” and the ground breaking “Club Life College Invasion Tour” which saw Tiësto embark on a two-week tour of college campuses across the United States. The tour culminated with a sold out event at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles where Tiësto performed before an audience of 26,000 fans. This marked the largest single headline DJ show in United States history.
Tiësto carries this momentum into 2012 with a series of unique promotions including a brand new exclusive residency with XS at the Wynn Las Vegas; performing the first concert live-streamed on Twitter (in partnership with HP and Intel) and his 10-part “In The Booth” YouTube documentary series. The coming months will see the launch of Tiësto’s own Sirius XM channel and a headline performance at Ultra Music Festival, among many other projects.
