A month back a few parties had uncovered a few new corporate entities created in Delaware with the names of SFX-{insert company here}. These included Beatport, ID&T and other EDM promotion companies. Word comes now that the Beatport purchase is official with a sale price just north of $50 million. It remains to be seen how SFX plans to use this new acquisition in their vertical conglomeration of EDM properties.
