Two independent event producers are teaming up for Miami Art Week. Framework, a Los Angeles-based curator of underground electronic experiences, is linking with Miami’s own unKommon events to bring Dutch duo ANOTR to town for a headline performance on Friday, December 4, 2026. The show takes place at a spot never before used for an event — a site at Watson Island Park — and represents two very different production philosophies meeting in the middle.
On one side, you’ve got Framework’s track record with underground talent and elaborate production design. On the other, unKommon events brings over a decade of Miami roots and a reputation for polish. Rather than one company simply booking the other, this is a true joint effort — both teams are involved from the initial concept all the way through execution and the guest experience on-site.
Company founders weighed in on what the partnership means. Kobi Danan of Framework called bringing ANOTR in for the label’s Miami debut the ideal introduction to the city, while Seth Kaplan of unKommon events framed the collaboration as something bigger than a booking — an attempt to build an experience that genuinely belongs within Miami Art Week’s broader cultural moment.
ANOTR has built a reputation out of Amsterdam by threading disco, soul, funk, and jazz influences through a house music foundation, operating more on instinct than formula. The duo’s catalog has racked up hundreds of millions of streams, with tracks like “Relax My Eyes,” “How You Feel,” and their newest, “Talk To You,” leading the charge. Two recent albums, ‘On A Trip’ (2025) and ‘Withness’ (2026), have widened their reach even further, backed by sold-out shows around the world and festival slots at Coachella, Glastonbury, and beyond. The ‘Withness’ era hasn’t stayed confined to the album itself — it’s spilled out into a series of free pop-up shows in cities like Rio de Janeiro, Miami, and Milan. Rather than grinding through a conventional tour schedule, ANOTR prefers building music alongside other artists at community-oriented retreats, and their label/platform No Art keeps that same collaborative spirit going year-round.
This Miami booking lands during a period of real momentum for Framework, which has spent more than ten years shaping the underground scene in Los Angeles. Beyond this Florida debut, the company just revealed its first-ever Arizona event, joining forces with Relentless Beats on a Halloween show fronted by Chris Stussy — meaning Framework has broken into two brand-new markets within a matter of months. That expansion follows a nearly sold-out summer, during which the company turned some of L.A.’s most recognizable spots into one-night destinations featuring Gorgon City, Disco Lines, SG Lewis, &ME, Carlita, SOSA, Ben Sterling, Rossi., Chris Lake, Max Dean & Luke Dean, Francis Mercier, and Shimza. Fall bookings are already lined up too, including HUGEL, PAWSA, Solomun, Afrojack, KETTAMA, Prospa, Josh Baker, Max Styler, and Jimi Jules.
Since launching in 2013, Framework has grown into one of the most respected independent dance music producers anywhere, with more than 200 artists and upwards of 1.1 million attendees across 35-plus venues worldwide. Its home turf includes Hollywood’s Sound Nightclub, The Spotlight, Wynn Las Vegas’ twice-yearly Art of the Wild festival, and its own desert after-party series. unKommon events, meanwhile, has spent six years building a name for itself producing standout experiences not just in Miami but also NYC, The Hamptons, Austin, Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles, St. Tropez, Paris, and Ibiza.
