Mochakk Takes Over New York for a Three-Day Weekend Spanning Skate Culture, Warehouse Raves, and a Sold-Out Finale

Mochakk is back in New York for a full weekend, running three distinct events across the city from August 28-30. The Brazilian producer’s takeover leans into the same mix of intimate community moments and full-scale headline shows that’s defined his U.S. presence, following up on the viral energy of his earlier NYC ice cream truck block party and the Tricks & Tracks pop-up at Venice Beach.

Friday, August 28 kicks off with another edition of Tricks & Tracks, Mochakk’s recurring pop-up that pairs skate culture with live music, this time landing at one of New York’s most iconic skate spots. True to form, the exact location is staying under wraps until Friday, with clues dropping across his social channels in the meantime and full details set to go public that morning. The event streams globally starting at 4 PM ET via Twitch Music, presented alongside Amazon Music and backed by Oakley and Bose.

Saturday, August 29 shifts into a full headline set at Under the K Bridge, where Mochakk shares the bill with Anastazja and a Minx b2b Holographic set. The run closes out Sunday, August 30 with another headline performance at RUINS at Knockdown Center — a show that’s already sold out.

The New York dates also coincide with a release milestone. Mochakk’s breakout single “Da Fonk” featuring Joni, which has racked up more than 60 million Spotify streams, returns via Nervous Records on August 28 with a stacked remix pack from Marco Carola, Confidence Man, Cinthie, DJ Gigola, Classmatic, Solarce Brothers, DJ Fuzil, Bronka, and Deekapz and kLap. A limited three-vinyl edition of the release will also be sold in person at this weekend’s NYC shows.

Born Pedro Maia, Mochakk broke through internationally in 2023 with “Jealous” on CircoLoco Records, followed by the double EP ‘Locomotiva Ibiza 2099.’ His 2025 run added a Ninja Tune debut with the ‘From the Stars’ EP, an official remix of PinkPantheress’s “Noises,” and a double release on Disorder Records. He’s also a CircoLoco family resident at DC-10 in Ibiza, has played Panorama Bar, Coachella, Glastonbury, Time Warp, and Sónar, and closed out 2025 with a 12,000-capacity headline show on Hollywood Boulevard under his own Mochakk Calling banner — a series that’s already sold out editions in New York, Miami, London, Lisbon, and São Paulo, and expanded into a standalone festival in Malta. He returned to Coachella for both weekends in 2026, debuting a custom video-game-themed production called MOCHAKK THE GAME at the Sahara Stage.

Beyond his own catalog, Mochakk runs MOTRAXX, a label built to spotlight emerging Brazilian electronic talent, and co-owns OBLIQO, a nightclub and cultural space in his hometown of Sorocaba, Brazil.
