Electric Zoo recently announced their artist lineup for this year’s annual festival in New York. Creative partners ID&T have been hired to reimagine the event with a new ‘Transformed’ theme. Examples of the new experience include the new stage design along with the curators of some of the stages. Pete Tong is bringing his “All Gone Pete Tong” party from across the pond at one of the stages. Thomas Jack will curate the lineup for another stage at the festival. Sunday School will return to their stage for another year of underground music. A live stage has also been confirmed for one day of the festival. The most anticipated stage this year will be curated by the Dutch techno festival, Awakenings, where fans will experience a heavy techno lineup on Friday before slowing the BPMs down to tech house on Saturday. We will see the likes of Adam Beyer and Hot Since 82 at the debut of the Awakenings stage.
The Labor Day Weekend event takes place at Randall’s Island in New York on September 4th through September 6th and the eclectic lineup has something for everyone. This year’s headliners include Above & Beyond, Alesso, and The Chemical Brothers who will be ending their summer tour in support of their ‘Born in the Echoes’ album out next month.
