Eleven-member marching band Meute from Hamburg Germany will appear this year at Coachella on Friday April 15th and 22nd. In addition, they will have a show in Los Angeles on Monday April 18th (tickets here).
MEUTE consists of Marco Möller on Bass Drum, Timon Fenner on Snare Drum, Onkel on Snare Drum, André Wittmann on Marimba, Philipp Westermann on Sousaphone, Philip Morton Andernach on Bass Sax, Vocals, Adrian Hanack on Baritone Sax, Sebastian Borkowski on Alto Flute, Tenor Sax, Johnny Johnson on Trombone, Hans-Christian Stephan on Trumpet and Thomas Burhorn on Trumpet.
Performing in their iconic red jackets, the German marching band combines brass band sounds along with their reworks of famous techno songs using acoustic instruments.
