Confirming industry suspicions, the Billion-dollar merger of Hakkasan and SBE announced a year ago is officially dead according to Restaurant-Hospitality.com who stated that in the past week a Hakkasan spokesperson confirmed as such.
While there are obvious synergies in the two hospitality entities merging, we expect both to continue to add new venues and building on their current brands such as Hakkasan and Omnia at Hakkasan and Hyde and Katsuya at SBE.
