Temple Denver Bids Farewell to 1136 N. Broadway — A New Chapter Awaits

One of Denver’s most iconic nightclubs is preparing to say goodbye to the space that made it a legend but the lights aren’t going out for good.

Temple Denver, the futuristic three-story nightclub nestled in the city’s Golden Triangle Creative District, has officially announced it will be departing its longtime home at 1136 N. Broadway. The news broke via an Instagram post from the venue’s official account, signaling the end of an era for one of the Mile High City’s premier electronic music destinations.

“While change is the only constant in the world of music and light, Temple Denver is moving on from 1136 N. Broadway,” the post reads. But in true Temple fashion, the club isn’t going quietly. The venue is inviting fans to join them for a series of farewell celebrations before they vacate the space, giving the Denver nightlife community a proper chance to say goodbye.

Temple Denver, located at 1136 Broadway in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District, has long been a cornerstone of the city’s electronic music scene. According to the Instagram announcement, the final night at the Broadway location will be June 27, 2026, after which the venue will begin its transition to a new, as-yet-undisclosed home.

“Our last night together in this space will be June 27th,” the post confirms, urging fans to “stand under the neon, dance with familiar faces, and give this iconic venue the send-off it deserves.”

Temple transformed Denver nightlife when it arrived, offering guests a Tron and Blade Runner-inspired world complete with an illuminated tunnel, more than 100,000 LED lights adorning the ceiling and furniture, glowing bars, illuminated drink menus, and a 14-foot disco ball. The club quickly became synonymous with cutting-edge production, world-class DJs, and an atmosphere that regulars describe as “Burning Man meets Las Vegas.” Temple first opened its Denver location in 2017, its first expansion outside of San Francisco.

While the new address hasn’t been revealed yet, there are strong signals about what Temple’s next evolution could look like. Temple’s parent company has been developing a new brand under the name Future Factory, a project spearheaded by founder Paul Hemming and his company Zen Compound,, with Temple Denver possibly slated to eventually carry the Future Factory name.

Temple Denver’s own website currently lists a Future Factory email address for marketing inquiries, a subtle but telling sign that the transition may already be underway behind the scenes.

According to a source closely familiar with Temple’s business operations, the rebrand to Future Factory was always part of the long-term plan, and was set to extend to Temple Denver as well as a new nightclub the company is developing in Los Angeles.

For Denver EDM fans, the next two months represent a bittersweet but exciting opportunity. Temple has promised a series of farewell events at the Broadway location before June 27th, and if the club’s track record is any indication, those final nights will be ones to remember.

No details have been released yet on the new venue’s location or opening timeline. EDMLIFE will be watching closely and will bring you updates as the “new residence announcement” drops.
