ABOUT SENSATION
The organization behind Sensation is ID&T – also known for its award winning festival Tomorrowland. Sensation was initiated in Amsterdam in 2000, and since then millions of people around the world has experienced one of the most spectacular dance and music phenomena in the world.
While Sensation’s reputation has grown, the music has evolved and taken on its own style – it’s not just about booking the biggest name DJ’s, it’s about choosing the people who can make Sensation the best event possible, and play the most cutting edge music of today and tomorrow.
Besides the DJ’s and performers, the spectacular “The Mix” for many is an exciting climax of any Sensation show, setting it apart from all other dance events. During “The Mix” not the DJ’s, but the music itself, and the public, are the stars. Compiled by one of the musical masterminds of Sensation, this musical trip through history features a range of old and new classics, accompanied by a synchronized show and fireworks display.
