Verboten recently announced the lineup for their annual StageONE summer series that is part of Brooklyn Live at The Inlet. Brooklyn Live is a concert series that features acts from indie rock, hip-hop, deep house, and electronica. The outdoor, daytime events feature international talent, visual installations, games, and food vendors on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront.
The first StageONE will be held in celebration of America’s birthday on July 3rd with Sasha and his ‘Last Day on Earth’ marathon set where Scuba, Verboten’s resident DJ and producer Guti [live], Agoria, Kate Simko, and Joris Voorn as the special guest will be featured. The second installment of StageONE will be on August 23rd with Jamie xx joining another Verboten resident DJ Maya Jane Coles. UPDATE: Verboten recently added a third date on September 6th that will feature Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis, David August [live], and special guest DJ Koze. The last of the summer series will be on September 19th with a special edition of Matthew Dear’s Verboten residency as his alter-ego ‘Audion’ as well as the legendary Carl Craig for ‘Detroit ♥’s SUBVERSIONS‘. Carl Craig will bring his live project ‘Modular Pursuits’ to the Williamsburg waterfront along with techno heavyweights Magda, Robert Hood as ‘Floorplan’, and Moodyman.
