It was recently announced that Exchange LA and Insomniac have united for a new collaboration. Academy will be debuting this weekend with four grand opening events at 6021 Hollywood Boulevard. This location has over 2o years of electronic dance music history as the former Create Nightclub, Vanguard, and Qtopia. The venue is currently being transformed, upgraded, and rebranded as Academy.
Exchange LA and Insomniac have over 600 partnered events under their belt. An alliance of curators, marketers, operators, and production staff with decades of combined experience will be developing Academy. Academy’s mission is “to provide a welcoming environment for fans to enjoy the music they love, while maintaining the highest level of production, sound, and programming standards.”
