LOOPTOPIA Music Festival returns for its sophomore edition for two days on April 6th and 7th in Taipei, Taiwan. The annual festival on the island will take place on the Taoyuan Pushin Ranch with a lineup featuring artists playing the entire spectrum of electronic music including EDM, tropical house, trance, progressive house, psytrance, trap, dubstep, hardstyle, mash-up, and bass. The largest electronic music festival in Taiwan will host 50 artists that include talent like Axwell Λ Ingrosso, DJ Snake, Yellow Claw, Lost Frequencies, Ferry Corsten, Coone, Ben Nicky, Excision, Brennan Heart, Jauz, Markus Schultz, Ray Ray plus many more!
LOOPTOPIA organizer, Alan Hsia, said the following regarding the return and expansion of the festival: “A diverse and intricate line-up over multiple stages, expanded camping, a built-up artist village, proper F&B at LOOPVILLE and most importantly the crowds are the factors that will make this year even bigger and better. We are now using LOOPTOPIA as a platform in Taiwan to land artists, labels, and brands to introduce and increase interactivity with the best festival crowd in Taiwan. The collaboration with Q-Dance this year is just a beginning.”
LOOPTOPIA will return with its 3 signature stages: The Kingdom of LOOPTOPIA, aka the main stage, The White Palace will feature trance and progressive music, and the Monster Tower will be dedicated to hardstyle, trap, bass, and dubstep as well as co-hosted by the Dutch company, Q-Dance, which is responsible for the events and festivals like Defqon.1, Q-Base, Qlimax and X-Qlusive.
LOOPVILLE will return this year offering interactive art installations, massages, yoga, aromatherapy, Chinese face painting, tattooing, graffiti, an aboriginal arts center, henna tattoos, a pop-up DJ studio, and stalls selling clothing as well as accessories. LOOPVILLE will also have a selection of food carts including Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Indian, and of course, Taiwanese. Taoyuan Pushin Ranch boasts lush forests, greenery, and a lake as well as onsite camping, BBQs, cabins, and showers.
