Moogfest Partners with Art of Cool Festival

Moogfest returns to Durham, North Carolina on May 18-21, 2017, and the Art of Cool Festival (AOC) will also be returning to Durham on April 28-30, 2017. Moogfest and Art of Cool (AOC) are partnering for the first time as well as launching a promotion that celebrates music, art, and technology. Now through December 5 and while supplies last, a DURM Flex Pass is available for purchase for $249, which offers fans full festival access for both Moogfest 2017 and AOC Festival 2017.

Moogfest has been an annual three day tribute to the inventions of Dr. Robert Moog since 2004. The festival is a collaboration of artists, futurist thinkers, inventors, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, scientists, and musicians. Since 2011, the three day Art of Cool Festival has been presenting live jazz, alternative soul, mature hip hop, and educating the local community of Durham about jazz.

Shelly Green, President & CEO of the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau, said the following on the new partnership, “We are so excited that Durham, North Carolina will once again be hosting both the Art of Cool Festival and Moogfest in 2017. They are both great events, but combined, Durham will host the best 30 days of music and tech in the country. Offering a DURM Flex Pass seems like a win-win so people can have unprecedented access to performances, talks, and interactive experiences with the best musicians and minds in the world.”

The DURM Flex Pass can be purchased here at the Moogfest website, and more information about the Art of Cool Festival can be found here.
