ROCKI Premieres $1,000,001 Covid Artist Relief Fund

ROCKI, the largest NFT and streaming service on the Binance Smart Chain, along with support from 1001 Tracklists, recently debuted at ADE their $1,000,001 Artist Relief Fund.

The fund is intended to benefit artists who have been financially impacted by COVID-19. In addition, the funds will be distributed with at least 50% going to female, LGBTIQA+ and BIPOC artists.

The fund is taking applications until December 31, 2021 for its grant program.

CEO of ROCKI, Bjorn Niclas noted:

“Setting up this Artist Relief Fund has been a passion project of mine. The pandemic has severely impacted an overwhelming amount of artist friends around the world. They lost out on the live events that provide their principal source of income (often as much as 95% of their total earnings as artists)..

Niclas’ goal is this new initiative will help even struggling artists especially traditionally underrepresented minorities who have always been an integral part of all music especially house music.

The goal of the fund is to allow artists to become education in using NFTs to sell collectible versions of their original songs.
